DMCA Policy

"Mozzarella Sticks" respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy outlines the procedures for submitting notices of alleged copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications regarding content removal under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

In accordance with the DMCA, "Mozzarella Sticks" will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly provided to our designated Copyright Agent. If "Mozzarella Sticks" removes or disables access to content in response to a DMCA notice, we will make a good faith attempt to contact the owner or administrator of the affected site or content so that they may make a counter-notification.

Filing a Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible via the "Mozzarella Sticks" service, please send a written notification to our Copyright Agent that includes substantially the following information:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including the URL (i.e., web page address) of the location where the copyrighted work exists or a copy of the copyrighted work.
  3. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on the "Mozzarella Sticks" service, including, at a minimum, the URL of the infringing material.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Filing a Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted on the "Mozzarella Sticks" service was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, a counter-notification must be a written communication provided to our Copyright Agent that includes substantially the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which "Mozzarella Sticks" may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
